Yes. The free version offers basic VPN access and contains ads. A paid subscription is optional and unlocks advanced features and the removal of in-app ads.
What is the difference between Weekly and Monthly?
Both provide the same Premium benefits. Weekly costs $4.99 USD per week; Monthly costs $12.99 USD per month. Each automatically renews at its own billing interval until canceled. Check the final local price in Google Play before purchasing.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Open Google Play, select your profile, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Obsidian VPN → Cancel subscription. Follow Google Play’s confirmation steps. You can also open Google Play subscription management. Uninstalling the app does not stop billing.
Does CloudPath keep VPN activity logs?
Our VPN service does not store IP addresses, connection timestamps, or traffic logs. The app uses Google AdMob and Firebase, which process certain device, advertising, usage, and diagnostic data. Read our Privacy Policy for the distinction and your choices.
Where can I get help or make a privacy request?
Visit our help center or email dev@cloudpathnetwork.com. For a request to delete personal data, use the instructions on our data deletion page.
